A report was done for the NDP government in Saskatchewan, and I thought it was excellent, because I think the problem that Saskatchewan has vis-à-vis Alberta is like the problem Canada has vis-à-vis the U.S. Saskatchewan will never have its taxes as low as those of Alberta, and Canada will never have taxes as low as those of the U.S. But don't let that gap get too big, or activity will move from Saskatchewan to Alberta.
Le gouvernement NPD de la Saskatchewan a demandé un rapport économique qui m'a paru excellent, car on y décrit très bien les rapports entre la Saskatchewan et l'Alberta sur le mode des rapports entre le Canada et les États-Unis. La Saskatchewan ne pourra jamais abaisser ses impôts autant que l'Alberta, un petit peu comme le Canada ne pourra jamais suivre les États-Unis.
