Consideration of the question raised has disclosed nothing to affect the validity of Council Regulation (EC) No 2320/97 of 17 November 1997, imposing definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Hungary, Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic, Romania and the Slovak Republic, repealing Regulation (EEC) No 1189/93 and terminating the proceeding in respect of such imports originating in the Republic of Croatia.
L’examen de la question posée n’a révélé aucun élément de nature à affecter la validité du règlement (CE) no 2320/97 du Conseil, du 17 novembre 1997, instituant des droits antidumping définitifs sur les importations de certains tubes et tuyaux sans soudure, en fer ou en acier non allié, originaires de Hongrie, de Pologne, de Russie, de la République tchèque, de Roumanie et de la République slovaque, abrogeant le règlement (CEE) no 1189/93 et clôturant la procédure concernant les importations en provenance de la République de Croatie.

In her answer to my written question No. E-2320/06, Commissioner Hübner referred me to the Greek authorities in connection with the failure to implement the INTERREG IIIA Programme Greece-Turkey, which is not going ahead owing to the Turks casting doubt over its cross-border nature by refusing to recognise the international borders in the Aegean.

The problem was also acknowledged by the former Foreign Minister of Greece, Mr Molyviatis, in his answer given to the Hellenic Parliament in December 2005 but, strangely enough, the Commission (which also funds the programme) simply confines itself to expressing the wish that implementation should start (answer to my question No. E-2320/06).

As regards the question of Mr Guardans Cambo, the regulation on restrictions on liquids does indeed have an unpublished annex which is classified as "EU Restricted" and thus not published in the Official Journal as required by article 8/1 of the Framework Regulation 2320 adopted by the Parliament and the Council in 2002.

Guardans Cambo, le règlement relatif aux mesures restrictives concernant les liquides a en effet une annexe non publiée qui est classifiée comme «à accès européen restreint» et n’a donc pas été publiée au Journal officiel comme le requiert l’article 8, paragraphe 1, du règlement (CE) n° 2320 adopté par le Parlement et le Conseil en 2002.

(EN) The Commission understands that the Honourable Member's question refers to the implementation of Regulation (EC) 2320/2002 on common rules in the field of civil aviation security, which requires that all staff requiring access to security restricted areas in airports to be subjected to a background check.
La Commission croit comprendre que la question de l’honorable député fait référence à la mise en œuvre du règlement (CE) n° 2320/2002, relatif à l’instauration de règles communes dans le domaine de la sûreté de l’aviation civile, qui dispose que les antécédents de tous les membres du personnel nécessitant l’accès aux zones de sûreté à accès réglementé dans les aéroports soient vérifiés.

2.2.2. By way of derogation from point 2.1.1 it shall not be necessary to make appropriate arrangements in aerodromes to ensure that inflows of passengers from internal and other flights are physically separated, without prejudice to Regulation (EC) No 2320/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2002 establishing common rules in the field of civil aviation security (1).
2.2.2. Par dérogation au point 2.1.1., on peut renoncer, dans les aérodromes, à mettre en place des structures destinées à la séparation physique entre les flux de passagers de vols intérieurs et d'autres vols, sans préjudice des dispositions du règlement (CE) no 2320/2002 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 16 décembre 2002 relatif à l'instauration de règles communes dans le domaine de la sûreté de l'aviation civile (1).
