Setting up a legal framework for the internal market in new services in the information society context In accordance with the wishes of Mr Bangemann, Mr Monti and Mr Oreja, the Commission decided not to extend the scope of the television without frontiers Directive to the new interactive audiovisual services, in particular video on demand (VOD).
