Technically, there should not be any criticism of the motion under consideration for it faithfully follows the rationale behind Agenda 2000 which is an income support philosophy, even though, in our opinion, in the taking of planning and production decisions in the face of the current globalisation of markets there has as yet been no detailed analysis of the actual requirements of the farms.
D’un point de vue technique, il ne devrait y avoir aucun commentaire sur la proposition à examiner car tout va dans le sens de la logique qui a guidé le processus de l’Agenda 2000, à savoir une philosophie au soutien des salaires sans que, selon nous, il n’y ait encore eu de sérieuses confrontations sur les exigences des entreprises agricoles dans leur choix de programmation et de production dans le cadre de la mondialisation en cours des marchés.
