With regard to criterion 3, it was established that the company benefitted from a number of subsidies (e.g. refund of VAT never paid by the suppliers/farmers and certain export subsidies from the Fund for Provincial Foreign Trade Development Projects as well as an export bonus), which indicates that significant distortions from the former non-market economy system are still in place.
