Over the three years of implementation of the European Consensus, the EU has contributed strongly and rapidly, with both funding and advocacy , to respond to rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situations and major sudden-onset disasters, as well as to managing the challenging and changing conditions in large-scale prolonged humanitarian crises.
