The limitless expansion strategy of NATO, the bombing of Serbia, the recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo, the support for the installation of the anti-missile defence shield on European soil, not to mention the extreme glorification of the region’s leaders who should, perhaps, be more cautious when making anti-Russian and pro-Western statements, all these choices are evidence of a short-sighted policy worthy of the current White House, but not worthy of a European security policy.
La stratégie d'élargissement sans limites de l'OTAN, le bombardement de la Serbie, puis la reconnaissance de l'indépendance unilatéralement proclamée du Kosovo, le soutien à l'installation du bouclier antimissiles sur le sol européen, sans parler de la glorification outrancière de dirigeants de la région pourtant sujets à cautions dès lors qu'ils se proclament anti-russes et pro-occidentaux, tous ces choix témoignent d'une politique à courte vue, digne de l'actuelle Maison Blanche, mais indigne d'une politique européenne de sécurité.
