Unfortunately, organizations in my riding did not benefit from the Canada-Ontario affordable housing program because the funding formula was too restrictive and they could not build units with the funding allotment and the strings attached.
Malheureusement, les organisations de ma circonscription n'ont pas profité du Programme de logement abordable Canada-Ontario parce que la formule de financement était trop restrictive et ces organisations ne pouvaient construire des logements avec les fonds prévus à cette fin et les conditions imposées.

The funding formula was to be on the basis of 50% federal dollars and 50% from the provinces. Things were getting so bad that Manitoba was threatening to withdraw from the administration of youth justice because its costs were too high and because the federal government was not holding up its end of the bargain.
