The measures are especially aimed at: - maintaining the present ceilings for the basic production levy (2 % of the intervention price for white sugar) and the B levy (maximum 30% and 37.5% of the price); - introduction of a supplementary levy to ensure coverage of the deficit each year if the proceeds from the two production levies are insufficient (as in 1986/87 when an elimination levy was applied).
Les propositions visent notamment : - à maintenir les plafonds actuels de la cotisation à la production de base (2 % du prix d'intervention du sucre blanc) et de la cotisation B (30 et 37,5 % au maximum de ce prix). - à instaurer une cotisation complémentaire pour garantir la couverture du déficit de chaque campagne lorsque le produit des deux cotisations à la production a été insuffisant (comme pour la campagne 1986/87 par le moyen d'une cotisation de résorption spéciale).
