(5) The trial judge may deem inadmissible the evidence obtained by means of an interception of a private communication pursuant to a subsequent authorization given under this section, where he finds that the application for the subsequent authorization was based on the same facts, and involved the interception of the private communications of the same person or persons, or related to the same offence, on which the application for the original authorization was based.

6 (1) The Minister or a designated officer shall, before revoking an authorization under section 5, give to the authorized person 90 days notice of the proposed revocation and provide the authorized person with all relevant information concerning the grounds on which the proposed revocation of the authorization is based.

We therefore recommend that domestic workers be allowed to submit an application for permanent resident status in Canada after one year of continuous work, pursuant to authorization for temporary employment, and that they be authorized to bring their children and members of their family to Canada; that their temporary employment authorization be based on their employment and not on their employer; that they not be obliged to live in their employers' home; that their working conditions be studied and monitored; lastly, that training be provided to families who employ such domestic workers.

By agreement between the applicant authority and the requested authority and in accordance with the arrangements laid down by the latter, officials duly authorised by the applicant authority may be permitted to obtain information on irregularities from the offices where the administrative authorities of the Member State in which the requested authority is based exercise their functions.
