That being the case, in light of the tremendous amount of public interest in this matter, recognizing that Bill C-357 has profound international implications, and in order to give all members of Parliament an opportunity for serious consideration of the bill, I have given the committee a draft suggesting that this committee undertake a review of the issues related to the subject matter of Bill C-357.
En plus, cette affaire a suscité beaucoup d'intérêt de la part de la population. Sachant que le projet de loi C-357 aura des conséquences importantes au niveau international, j'ai déposé devant ce comité une ébauche dans laquelle je demande au comité d'entreprendre un examen des questions relatives à l'objet du C-357, ce qui permettrait à tous les parlementaires d'examiner en profondeur le projet de loi.
