Op 9 september 2010 heeft Duitsland een aanvraag ingediend voor goedkeuring van het gebruik van L-leucine als draagstof (hulpmiddel bij het maken van tabletten) voor tafelzoetstoffen in tabletvorm; dergelijk gebruik is in Duitsland toegestaan.
Le 9 septembre 2010, une demande d'autorisation concernant l'utilisation de la L-leucine comme support (auxiliaire de compression) des édulcorants de table sous forme de comprimés a été introduite par l'Allemagne où un tel usage était autorisé.
