TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Dit thema werd behandeld in het kader van een algemeen debat en met drie rondetafelgesprekken: - "Eliminating poverty and inequality for all persons with disabilities"; - "Promoting the rights of persons with mental and intellectual disabilities"; - "Enhancing accessibility to information and technology and inclusive development".
Celui-ci a été abordé au travers d'un débat général et de trois tables rondes: - "Eliminating poverty and inequality for all persons with disabilities"; - "Promoting the rights of persons with mental and intellectual disabilities"; - "Enhancing accessibility to information and technology and inclusive development".

Dit actieplan volgt twee sporen: - enerzijds uitvoering geven aan het engagement van alle ministers en staatssecretarissen zoals aangegaan op 27 maart 2015 om binnen hun bevoegdheidsdomein terdege rekening te houden met de dimensie handicap bij het ontwerpen en uitvoeren van hun beleid ("Handistreaming"); - anderzijds, uitvoering geven aan de verplichtingen van het UNCRPD (UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) om de situatie van personen met een handicap te verbeteren en hun volwaardige participatie aan de samenleving te garanderen via concrete, specifieke maatregelen en initiatieven die in de verschillende beleidsdomeinen genomen kunnen worden, rekening houdend met de aanbevelingen van het VN-Comité ("Implementatie UNCRPD").
Ce plan d'action poursuit deux objectifs: - d'une part, mettre à exécution l'engagement de tous les ministres et secrétaires d'État, tel que contracté par eux le 27 mars 2015, de tenir dûment compte, dans leurs domaine de compétences, de la dimension du handicap lors de l'élaboration et de la mise oeuvre de leur politique ("Handistreaming"); - d'autre part, mettre en oeuvre les obligations contenues dans l'UNCRPD (Convention de l'ONU relative aux droits des personnes handicapées), destinées à améliorer la situation des personnes handicapées et à garantir leur pleine participation à la vie sociale au moyen de mesures et d'initiatives concrètes et spécifiques pouvant être prises dans les divers domaines politiques, compte tenu des recommandations du Comité des Nations Unies ("Mise en oeuvre de l'UNCRPD").

In 2011 ratificeerde de EU het VN-Verdrag inzake de rechten van personen met een handicap (UNCRPD, UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities).
En 2011, l’Union européenne a ratifié la convention des Nations unies relative aux droits des personnes handicapées (CNUDPH), qui appréhende le handicap du point de vue des droits de l’homme plutôt que d'un point de vue médical ou caritatif.
