1. The Bureau and the other bodies of the Assembly shall be assisted in the preparation, proper conduct and follow-up of the Assembly's work, by a Secretariat, based in Brussels, composed of staff from each of the parliaments represented in the Bureau and coordinated by a Secretary General who shall be the staff member from the parliament which holds the Presidency at the time.

Le Bureau et les autres organes de l'Assemblée sont assistés, dans la préparation, le bon déroulement et le suivi des travaux, par un Secrétariat réduit, basé à Bruxelles, composé de fonctionnaires de chaque parlement représenté au Bureau et coordonné par un Secrétaire Général qui est le fonctionnaire du parlement qui assure la Présidence en cours.

24. Reiterates the importance for the Republic of Moldova to adhere to the principles of democracy, the protection of human rights and the rule of law, including the independence of the judiciary, notes in this respect the controversial court decision against Valeriu Pasat, which raises concerns from the viewpoint of internationally accepted standards of justice, and recommends that the Parliamentary Team on Moldova explore thoroughly the legal and human rights aspects of the Pasat case and inform the Assembly of its findings;
24. Réaffirme qu'il est important que la République de Moldova adhère aux principes de la démocratie, de la protection des droits de l'homme et de l'état de droit, y compris au principe de l'indépendance de la justice, note à cet égard la décision controversée d'un tribunal contre Valeriu Pasat, préoccupante du point de vue de la conformité avec les normes internationalement reconnues en matière de justice, et recommande à l'Equipe parlementaire sur la Moldova d'examiner de manière approfondie les aspects juridiques et liés aux droits de l'homme de cette affaire, puis d'informer l'Assemblée de ses conclusions;
