TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Dat initiatief (onder auspiciën van Atomium - European Institute for Science, Media and Democracy) gaat vandaag in tien Europese landen van start.

- De kusterosie in Benin en Togo, als gevolg van klimaatverandering en menselijk toedoen, is de afgelopen jaren toegenomen. Om de oorzaken van deze erosie beter te begrijpen zal dit jaar een project van start gaan, in samenwerking met het Institut de Recherches Halieutiques et Océanologiques du Bénin (IRHOB), die de zeestroming zal modelleren, op basis van het model COHERENS (a modelling system designed for a wide range of applications in coastal and shelf seas, estuaries, lakes and reservoirs) van MUMM (Management Unit of the North Sea Mathematical Models and the Scheldt estuary), OD Nature (Operational Directorate Natural Environment), IRSNB (Institut royal des Sciences naturelles de Belgique). - Bovendien werden in het kader van het Global Taxonomy Initiative, en op basis van de projectoproep, verscheidene vormingen/ workshops georganiseerd in België en ter plaatse (met name een regionale workshop in februari 2016), zodat wetenschappers nieuwe vaardigheden kunnen verwerven, hun onderzoeksmateriaal kunnen vergelijken met de collecties (insecten, vissen, en zo meer) die beschikbaar zijn in België, aan networking kunnen doen en goede praktijken kunnen uitwisselen tussen Zuid/ Zuid enzovoort.
- Par ailleurs, dans le cadre de l'Initiative taxonomique mondiale, des formations/ workshop sont organisés, sur base d'appel à projet, en Belgique et sur place (notamment un workshop régional en février 2016) pour permettre aux scientifiques d'acquérir de nouvelles compétences, de comparer leur matériel de recherche aux collections (d'insectes, de poissons, etc.) disponibles en Belgique, networking et échange de bonnes pratique Sud/ Sud etc.

De methode is gebaseerd op het voorstel van het Agricultural Chemical Safety Assessment (ACSA) Technical Committee van het International Life Science Institute (ILSI)-Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) voor een uitgebreid reproductieonderzoek over één generatie met betrekking tot levensfase F1, zoals gepubliceerd in Cooper et al., 2006 (1).
Elle s'appuie sur un projet d'étude étendue de toxicité pour la reproduction sur une génération F1 réalisée au cours des différents stades de la vie, proposé par le comité technique ACSA (Agricultural Chemical Safety Assessment) du Health and Environmental Sciences Institute (HESI) de l'ILSI (Institut international Life Science Institute), tel que publié dans Cooper e.a., 2006 (1).

7. heeft al bepaalde tekortkomingen aangekaart in verband met belangenvermenging, belangenverklaring en transparantie; benadrukt dat de vorige voorzitter van de raad van bestuur in 2010 heeft nagelaten melding te maken van haar lidmaatschap van het bestuur van het International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI), terwijl het ILSI wordt gefinancierd door ondernemingen uit de voedings-, chemische en farmaceutische sector; wijst erop dat de leden van de raad van bestuur van de Autoriteit niet door de uitvoerend directeur worden benoemd en dus ook niet door deze ontslagen kunnen worden;
7. a déjà remédié à certains manquements en rapport avec des conflits d'intérêts, des déclarations d'intérêts et la transparence; souligne que l'ancienne présidente du conseil d'administration de l'Autorité a omis, en 2010, de déclarer sa qualité de membre du conseil de l'Institut international des sciences de la vie (ILSI) alors que l'ILSI est financé par des entreprises des secteurs alimentaire, chimique et pharmaceutique; constate que les membres du conseil d'administration de l'Autorité ne sont pas nommés par le directeur exécutif et ne peuvent par conséquent pas être révoqués par celui-ci;
