L’analyse de la stratégie nationale belge pour l’intégration des Roms par la Commission européenne, à laquelle il est fait référence dans la communication COM(2012) 226 du 21 mai 2012, « Stratégies nationales d’intégration des Roms: un premier pas dans la mise en oeuvre du Cadre de l’UE » et dans le « Commission staff working document » accompagnant cette communication, était à l’ordre du jour de cette réunion du groupe de travail Roms du CIM.

The commitment of all Member States to implementing National Reform Programmes in line with a common strategy remains crucial. The Slovenian Presidency will seek to balance the need for stability of the programme framework, the Integrated Guidelines and the Community Lisbon Programme, with the need to respond to new challenges and identified shortcomings.

Welcomes the fact that the Cairo Euro-Mediterranean ministerial Conference on the Environment adopted a specific timetable for implementing the « Horizon 2020 » initiative to clean up the Mediterranean Sea and supports implementation of the Integrated Coastal Zone Management programme and the adoption of a long-term water strategies ensuring water supplies, an approach making for sustainable management of marine and coastal zones, and calls for this initiative to be provided with the funding necessary to implement it;
39. se félicite à cet égard de l'adoption au sein de la conférence ministérielle euro-méditerranéenne du Caire sur l'environnement d'un calendrier précis de mise en œuvre de « l'initiative horizon 2020 » destiné à la dépollution de la mer méditerranéenne et soutient la mise en application du programme intégré de gestion des zones côtières (Integrated Coastal Zone Management), et l'adoption de stratégies à long terme assurant l'approvisionnement en eau, approche adéquate pour une gestion durable des zones marines et côtières, et demande que cette initiative soit dotée de crédits nécessaires à sa réalisation;
