[33] De Commissie heeft het European Flood Awareness System ontwikkeld als doeltreffend instrument om de paraatheid met betrekking tot transnationale overstromingen in Europa te verhogen. Dit instrument is ingevoerd in het kader van de GMES Emergency Management Service (GIO EMS).
[33] La Commission a élaboré un système européen de sensibilisation aux inondations, instrument efficace pour améliorer la préparation aux inondations transfrontières en Europe, qui a été adopté dans le cadre du service de gestion des situations d'urgence du programme GMES.
