– vu le document de travail de l'Institut syndical européen (ETUI) de mai 2013 intitulé "The Euro crisis and its impact on national and European social policies" (La crise de l'euro et ses répercussions sur les politiques sociales nationales et européennes),

12. Emphasizes the importance of strengthening and enhancing the role of the Mediterranean Cultural Heritage so that it can increasingly become an instrument of dialogue and a driving force for economic and social development for the countries in the Euro-Mediterranean area : underlines also that intercultural dialogue needs to become a lasting and visible priority for the European Union and a horizontal priority for all relevant Community programmes, and for the new Neighborhoods Policy,
12. souligne l'importance de renforcer et de valoriser le rôle du patrimoine culturel méditerranéen pour qu'il devienne de plus en plus un outil du dialogue et le propulseur du développement économique et social pour les pays de la région euro-méditerranéenne, souligne également que le dialogue interculturel doit être une priorité durable et visible pour l'Union européenne et une priorité horizontale pour tous ses principaux programmes et la nouvelle politique de voisinage,

In haar standpunt "Releasing Europe's employment potential: Companies' views on European Social Policy beyond 2000" beklemtoont de UNICE (de Unie van Industrie- en Werkgeversfederaties van Europa) dat de Europese bedrijven - door hun sociale verantwoordelijkheid te nemen - zichzelf als een wezenlijk deel van de samenleving beschouwen; winst als hun hoofddoel maar niet als hun enige bestaansreden zien; en voor strategische beslissingen en investeringen op lange termijn kiezen.
Dans son avis "Libérer le potentiel d'emploi de l'Europe: La politique sociale européenne à l'horizon 2000: les vues des entreprises", l'UNICE (Union des confédérations de l'industrie et des employeurs d'Europe) a souligné combien les entreprises européennes se considéraient partie intégrante de la société en adoptant un comportement socialement responsable, voyaient dans la réalisation de profits le principal objectif d'une entreprise, mais non sa seule "raison d'être" et optaient pour une réflexion à long terme sur les décisions et les investissements stratégiques.
