Deze actie moet voortbouwen op de onderstaande onderzoeks- en innovatieprojecten, de uitvoering daarvan in de klinische praktijk bevorderen en gebruikmaken van hun resultaten en uitkomsten: AAA-PREVENT („Effective Environmental Strategies for the Prevention of Alcohol Abuse among Adolescents in Europe”) (43), AMPHORA („Alcohol Measures for Public Health Research Alliance”) (44) en ODHIN („Optimizing delivery of health care interventions”).
Cette action devrait tirer profit des projets de recherche et d’innovation ci-après, encourager leur application dans la pratique clinique et exploiter leurs résultats et réalisations: «Effective Environmental Strategies for the Prevention of Alcohol Abuse among Adolescents in Europe» (AAA-PREVENT) (43), «Alcohol Measures for Public Health Research Alliance» (AMPHORA) (44) et «Optimizing delivery of health care interventions» (ODHIN).

Ook had ik de leiding over drie doelmatigheidscontroles op het gebied van ontwikkelingshulp; deze controles hebben de volgende speciale verslagen opgeleverd: EC Support for Environmental Measures (SR 6/2006 – Europese steun voor milieumaatregelen), EC Assistance for Health Sector in Sub-Saharan Africa (SR 10/2008 – Europese hulp voor de gezondheidszorg in Afrika bezuiden de Sahara) en EC Management of Non-State Actors (SR 4/2009 – Europees beheer van niet-overheidsactoren).
