De Engelse Information commissioner is bevoegd op grond van section 54 of the Freedom of Information Law om bij niet naleving van een information notice waarbij hij bepaalde informatie of documenten opvraagt bij een administratie om dit voor de High Court te brengen.
En cas de non-respect d'une "information notice" réclamant certains documents ou informations à une administration, l'"Information commissioner" anglais est habilité, en vertu de la "section 54" de la "Freedom of Information Law", à porter l'affaire devant la "High Court".
