Wat de noodoproepen betreft, is er momenteel een e-Call-project lopende om de communicatie met doven of mensen met een gehoor- en/of spraakprobleem te voorzien via sms.
En ce qui concerne les appels d’urgence, un projet e-Call est en cours en vue d’une communication par sms avec des personnes sourdes, malentendantes et/ou souffrant d’un problème de langage.

De verdere uitwerking van het e-Call-project, sms voor doven en slechthorenden, volg ik op de voet. Verder heeft de minister van Financiën J. Van Overveldt, dit najaar beslist om de sociale en maatschappelijke diensten (incl. diensten verricht in opdracht van justitie, zoals simultaanvertalingen bij rechtszittingen, gerechtelijke of politionele verhoren) verleend door tolken (gebarentaal, orale tolken en schrijftolken) volledig vrij te stellen van btw.

Van Overveldt, a décidé en automne dernier d’exonérer de la TVA les services sociaux et d’aide sociale (en ce compris les services effectués pour le compte de la justice, comme les traductions simultanées lors d’audiences, d’auditions de police ou d’interrogatoires judiciaires) fournis par des interprètes (langue des signes, interprétations orales et écrites).

9. calls on the governments of Union for the Mediterranean to respond effectively to the historic challenges currently facing the region; to this end, calls for top-level cooperation to be relaunched immediately, for the post of Secretary-General to be filled as soon as possible, and for a wholesale review of its instruments to be carried out to allow a rapid response to be made to the political changes that are taking place alongside a significant change in economic and social conditions; calls to this end on the governments of the Union for the Mediterranean to define and consolidate Euro-Mediterranean projects in the food, health, migration and finance sectors;
9. appelle les gouvernements de l'Union pour la Méditerranée à donner une réponse à la hauteur des défis historiques que connaît la région aujourd'hui; demande à cette fin la relance immédiate des structures de coopération au plus haut niveau, le pourvoi du poste de Secrétaire général dans les meilleurs délais et une révision en profondeur de ses instruments, afin d'accompagner les transformations politiques en cours rapidement et par un changement significatif des conditions économiques et sociales; à cette fin, invite les gouvernements de l'Union pour la Méditerranée à définir et consolider des projets euroméditerranéens dans les secteurs alimentaire, sanitaire, migratoire et financier;

Door onnodige kosten in de bouwsector terug te dringen zouden meer renovaties kunnen worden uitgevoerd die de energie-efficiëntie van gebouwen verhogen, aangezien zulke renovaties goedkoper zouden worden voor de eindgebruiker.
