Een lid vindt de woorden « la dénomination sociale » in de Franse tekst beter dan het woord « vennootschapsnaam » in de Nederlandse tekst omdat « dénomination sociale » op alle rechtspersonen kan slaan en niet alleen op een vennootschap.
Un autre membre estime que les termes « la dénomination sociale » dans le texte français sont meilleurs que le terme « vennootschapsnaam » dans le texte néerlandais parce que la dénomination sociale peut couvrir toutes les formes de personnes morales et pas uniquement une société.

Met het voorstel van resolutie beslist « Le Parlement de la Communauté Française (...) de faire usage systématiquement de l'appelation « Féderation Wallonie-Bruxelles » pour désigner usuellement la Communauté Française créée par le Constituant, d'utiliser cette nouvelle dénomination sur l'ensemble de ses supports de communication et invite le gouvernement à faire de même».
Par cette proposition, le Parlement de la Communauté française « décide de faire usage systématiquement de l'appellation « Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles » pour désigner usuellement la Communauté française créée par le Constituant, d'utiliser cette nouvelle dénomination sur l'ensemble de ses supports de communication et invite le gouvernement à faire de même».

Op 18 mei 2011 kreeg deze aankondiging in het parlement van de Franse gemeenschap gestalte onder de vorm van een voorstel van resolutie « relative à l'utilisation de la dénomination « Féderation Wallonie-Bruxelles » dans les communications de la communauté Française ». Het voorstel is ondertekend door de heren Rudi Vervoort (PS) en Léon Walry (PS) en mevrouw Françoise Bertieaux (MR), de heren Richard Miller (MR) en Marcel Cheron (ÉCOLO), de dames Barbara Trachte (ÉCOLO) en Julie De Groote (cdH) en de heer Marc Elsen (cdH).
Le 18 mai 2011, cette annonce s'est matérialisée, au Parlement de la Communauté française, sous la forme d'une proposition de résolution « relative à l'utilisation de la dénomination « Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles » dans les communications de la Communauté française » signée par MM. Rudi Vervoort (PS) et Léon Walry (PS), Mme Françoise Bertieaux (MR), MM. Richard Miller (MR) et Marcel Cheron (ÉCOLO), Mmes Barbara Trachte (ÉCOLO) et Julie De Groote (cdH) et M. Marc Elsen (cdH).

De « Encyclopédie Larousse » (blz. 9565) geeft de volgende informatie : « Sa dénomination internationale est HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).

Daarom dring ik er bij mijn collega’s op aan het amendement te steunen dat door de Verts-ALE-Fractie en de PSE-Fractie is ingediend en dat in het Engels als volgt luidt: “Calls on the Commission to evaluate the usefulness of supply-side management tools for the clothing sector, in order to level off global competition and prevent a lowest-common-denominator approach to social and environmental standards”.
C’est la raison pour laquelle je demande à mes collègues de soutenir l’amendement suivant, que les Verts et les socialistes ont introduit ensemble: «invite la Commission à évaluer l’utilité des outils de gestion de l’offre pour le secteur de l’habillement, en vue d’uniformiser les conditions de concurrence au niveau mondial et d’empêcher un nivellement par le bas des normes sociales et environnementales».

Ces frontières sont dénommées extérieures pour les distinguer des frontières dites internes qui délimitent par rapport à leurs voisins les territoires des États membres.
