Rapporteringen na het op de markt brengen, die het gelijktijdige gebruik van Comfortis met zogenaamd ‘off label’ gebruik van hoge doses ivermectine vermelden, geven aan dat honden trillen/zenuwachtig bewegen, speekselen/kwijlen, toevallen, ataxie, abnormale pupilverwijding, blindheid en desoriëntatie lieten zien.
Les rapports post-commercialisation, suite à l’utilisation concomitante hors-AMM de doses élevées d’ivermectine et de Comfortis, ont fait état de tremblements/secousses musculaires, salivation/hypersialie, convulsions, ataxie, mydriase, cécité et désorientation chez les chiens.
