Het FAGG blijft actief in de internationale organisaties zoals de Working Group Enforcement Officers (WGEO) van het HMA en de Raad van Europa met zijn expertgroep namaakgeneesmiddelen. Een belangrijk element hierbij is ook het uitsturen van alerts via het netwerk van de WGEO.

Des organisations internationales telles qu’Interpol, le Conseil de l’Europe, le Working group of Enforcement Officers, le Permanent Forum on International Pharmaceutical Crime (PFIPC)… exercent une pression accrue pour que l’on s’attaque à ce problème.

Hier worden actuele onderwerpen aangepakt (informatie-uitwisseling, trendanalyse enz.) zoals de enforcement problemen binnen de geneesmiddelendistributie, het internet, de problemen rond grondstoffen, namaakgeneesmiddelen en de training van enforcement officers met betrekking tot farmaceutische criminaliteit Sinds 2003 neemt de FAGG ook een sturende rol waar binnen de “Ad Hoc Workgroup Counterfeit Medicines “ in de Raad van Europa in Straatsburg.
Cette organisation se penche sur des problèmes d’actualité (échange d’informations, analyse de tendances…) tels que les problèmes liés à la répression des infractions dans le cadre de la distribution des médicaments, l’internet, les problèmes liés aux matières premières, les médicaments contrefaits et l’entraînement des enforcement officers en matière de criminalité pharmaceutique. Depuis 2003, l’AFMPS joue également un rôle directeur au sein de l’Ad Hoc Group on Counterfeit Medicines du Conseil de l’Europe à Strasbourg.

De Work Group of Enforcement Officers organiseert twee keer per jaar seminaries om evoluties, problemen, markante zaken te bespreken.

De jarenlange terreinervaring van het FAGG op het vlak van farmaceutische criminaliteit heeft ook geleid tot een zeer expliciete aanwezigheid binnen de internationale organisaties zoals de HMA-WGEO (Head of Medicines Agencies – Workgroup Enforcement Officers) waar het FAGG het vice-voorzitterschap waarneemt sinds meerdere jaren.
La longue expérience de l’AFMPS en matière de criminalité pharmaceutique lui a également valu une place importante au sein des organisations internationales telles que la HMA-WGEO (Head of Medicines Agencies – Working group of Enforcement Officers) dont l’AFMPS assure la vice-présidence depuis plusieurs années.
