In twee 12 weken durende placebogecontroleerde monotherapieonderzoeken met actieve controle bij patiënten met een manische of een gemengde episode van een bipolaire I stoornis, met of zonder psychotische kenmerken, toonde aripiprazol superieure werkzaamheid ten opzichte van placebo in week 3 en behoud van het effect in week 12 vergelijkbaar met lithium en haloperidol.
Dans deux études cliniques de 12 semaines en monothérapie contrôlées versus placebo et versus substance active chez des patients présentant des épisodes maniaques ou mixtes dans le cadre de troubles bipolaires de type I avec ou sans caractéristiques psychotiques, l’aripiprazole a montré une efficacité supérieure au placebo à la 3 ème semaine et un maintien de l’efficacité comparable au lithium ou à l’halopéridol à la 12 ème semaine.

In deze onderzoeken werden voor 11,9% van de met Humira behandelde patiënten en 8,1% van de met placebo en actieve-control behandelde patiënten die aan het begin van het onderzoek negatieve antinucleaire-antilichaamtiters hadden, positieve titers gemeld in week 24.
Dans ces essais, les titres d'anticorps antinucléaires initialement négatifs étaient positifs à la semaine 24 chez 11,9 % des patients traités par Humira et 8,1 % des patients sous placebo et comparateur.
