Omschrijving: Stoornissen van de persoonlijkheid en het gedrag op volwassen leeftijd die zich hebben ontwikkeld bij personen zonder eerdere persoonlijkheidsstoornis na ondervinding van catastrofale of buitengewoon-lang-aanhoudende stress of na een ernstige psychiatrische-ziekte. Deze diagnosen mogen alleen gesteld worden als er bewijs is van een uitgesproken en duurzame verandering van het patroon waarin iemand de omgeving en zichzelf waarneemt, daarmee in betrekking staat of daarover denkt. De persoonlijkheidsverandering dient aanmerkelijk te zijn en samen te gaan met star en onaangepast gedrag dat voor de pathogene ervaring niet aanwezig was. De verandering mag geen directe manifestatie te zijn van een andere psychische stoornis of een restverschijnsel van enige psychische stoornis, daaraan voorafgaand.
Définition: Cette catégorie concerne des anomalies de la personnalité et du comportement chez l'adulte, survenant en l'absence de troubles préalables de la personnalité et faisant suite à un facteur de stress, soit catastrophique, soit excessif et prolongé, ou à une maladie psychiatrique sévère. Ce diagnostic ne doit être porté que dans les cas où on a la preuve d'un changement manifeste et durable des modes de perception, de relation ou de pensée concernant l'environnement ou soi-même. La modification de la personnalité doit être significative et être associée à un comportement rigide et mal adapté, absent avant la survenue de l'événement pathogène. La modification ne doit pas être la manifestation directe d'un autre trouble mental ni un symptôme résiduel d'un trouble mental antérieur.

Les conférences d’experts « Guidelines for the transfusion of red cells » et « Transfusion Guidelines: Pathogen reduction, products and indications for the transfusion of plasma » ont eu lieu respectivement le 18 novembre 2005 et le 11 mai 2006 à Bruxelles. Elles avaient pour but d’aider le praticien dans sa prise de décision afin de rationaliser la prescription de globules

Opdracht 1. De Hoge Gezondheidsraad (HGR) heeft een werkgroep opgericht die in 2005 en 2006 meermaals bijeengekomen is teneinde de organisatie van twee conferenties van experts “Guidelines for the transfusion of red cells” en “Transfusion Guidelines: Pathogen reduction, products and indications for the transfusion of plasma”, in samenwerking met de Belgian Hematological Society voor te bereiden.
Mission 1. Le Conseil Supérieur d’Hygiène (CSH) a mis sur pied un groupe de travail qui s’est réuni plusieurs fois en 2005 et 2006 afin de préparer la tenue de deux conférences d’experts « Guidelines for the transfusion of red cells » et « Transfusion Guidelines: Pathogen reduction, products and indications for the transfusion of plasma », conjointement avec la Belgian Hematological Society.

Het is nuttig om er eerst en vooral aan te herinneren dat de term “technologie voor pathogeenreductie” (PRT: pathogen reduction technology) niet noodzakelijk een volledige inactivatie, maar wel een reductie tot gevolg heeft.
