Orthostatische hypotensie Orthostatische hypotensie werd soms waargenomen bij oudere patiënten in klinische studies met olanzapine.
Hypotension orthostatique Au cours des études cliniques réalisées avec l’olanzapine, on a observé de manière peu fréquente la survenue d’une hypotension orthostatique chez les patients âgés.

Affections vasculaires Peu fréquent : Hypotension orthostatique, hypotension L’hypotension ou l’hypotension orthostatique est rarement sévère.

Orthostatische hypotensie Tijdens klinische onderzoeken met olanzapine werd orthostatische hypotensie af en toe waargenomen bij ouderen.
Hypotension orthostatique Une hypotension orthostatique a été rarement observée chez les sujets âgés lors des essais cliniques.

Orthostatische hypotensie De incidentie van orthostatische hypotensie bij oudere proefpersonen was 4,1% vergeleken met 0,3% in de gecombineerde fase 2/3 populaties.
Hypotension orthostatique L’incidence de l’hypotension orthostatique chez les sujets âgés était de 4,1 % comparée à 0,3 % dans la population de l’étude combinée de phase 2/3.

Wat betreft het tegengaan van de orthostatische klachten, werd voor geen enkele medicamenteuze of niet-medicamenteuze behandeling voldoende onderbouwing gevonden, ook niet voor etilefrine (Effortil®) of dihydroergotamine (Dihydergot®, Dystonal®), de enige middelen die in België geregistreerd zijn voor de aanpak van orthostatische hypotensie.
En ce qui concerne l’effet sur les symptômes orthostatiques, on ne disposait pas de preuves suffisantes ni pour le traitement non médicamenteux, ni pour le traitement médicamenteux y compris pour l’étiléfrine (Effortil®) ou la dihydroergotamine (Dihydergot®, Dystonal®), les seuls médicaments enregistrés en Belgique pour la prise en charge de l’hypotension orthostatique.

Ook geeft een snelle bloeddrukdaling meer kans op orthostatische hypotensie.
Par ailleurs, le risque d’hypotension orthostatique est plus grand lorsque la baisse de tension est rapide.

Zo zijn deze patiënten extra gevoelig voor orthostatische hypotensie, een ongewenst effect dat nog kan worden in de hand gewerkt door co-medicatie bij deze leeftijdsgroep.
Ces patients sont ainsi très sensibles à l’hypotension orthostatique, un effet indésirable souvent facilité par la polymédication dans cette tranche d’âge.
