Both the SCF’s 2003 opinion and the advisory report recently published by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR, 2008) mention a number of observation cases and reported cases with acute adverse effects, including death, in people who consume energy drinks.

Nog eens 162 patiënten met HES/CEL, vermeld in 35 gepubliceerde case reports en case series, kregen Glivec met een dosis van 75 mg tot 800 mg per dag.
162 patients supplémentaires atteints de SHE/LCE, rapportés dans 35 publications sous la forme d’observations individuelles, ont reçu Glivec à la dose allant de 75 mg à 800 mg par jour.

Er zijn op dit ogenblik weinig gegevens over de therapeutische waarde van HT aangezien er maar enkele tientallen case reports en kleine case series gerapporteerd zijn.
Actuellement, peu de données sont disponibles au sujet de la valeur thérapeutique de la TH étant donné que quelques dizaines seulement de case reports et de petites séries de cas sont rapportés.
