0,6% van de patiënten die in het kader van gecontroleerde klinische studies na een niertransplantatie (gegevens over 2 g), harttransplantatie of levertransplantatie mycofenolaat mofetil (2 g of 3 g per dag) kregen in combinatie met andere immunosuppressiva en die minstens 1 jaar werden gevolgd, heeft een lymfoproliferatieve ziekte of een lymfoom ontwikkeld.

Chez les patients recevant du mycophénolate mofétil (2 g ou 3 g par jour) avec d’autres immunosuppresseurs dans le cadre d’essais cliniques contrôlés chez des patients transplantés rénaux (2 g par jour), cardiaques et hépatiques suivis pendant au moins un an, les infections opportunistes les plus fréquentes ont été les candidoses muco-cutanées, une virémie ou un syndrome à CMV et un herpès simplex.

Autres réactions indésirables: Les réactions indésirables, probablement ou potentiellement liées au mycophénolate mofétil et signalées chez ≥�1/10 et chez ≥1/100 à < 1/10 des patients traités par mycophénolate mofétil dans les essais cliniques contrôlés impliquant des receveurs de transplantation rénale (données portant sur 2 g), cardiaque et hépatique sont mentionnées dans le tableau suivant.

N.B.: 501 (2 g mycofenolaat mofetil per dag), 289 (3 g mycofenolaat mofetil per dag) en 277 (2 g i.v. / 3 g oraal mycofenolaat mofetil per dag) patiënten werden in fase III-studies behandeld voor de preventie van afstoting na respectievelijk nier-, hart- en levertransplantatie.

Mycofenolaat mofetil wordt gebruikt samen met ciclosporine en corticosteroïden als profylaxe tegen acute orgaanafstoting, bij patiënten die een allogene nier-, hart- of levertransplantatie ondergaan.
Le mycophénolate mofétil est indiqué en association avec la ciclosporine et les corticostéroïdes pour la prophylaxie du rejet aigu de transplant chez les patients recevant des transplants allogéniques du rein, du cœur ou du foie.
