In een goed gecontroleerde studie bij patiënten die werden behandeld met cyclofosfamide, doxorubicine, bleomycine, procarbazine en/of mechlorethamine (mustinehydrochloride), leek allopurinol de toxische reactie op die cytostatica echter niet te verhogen.
Cependant dans le cadre d’une étude bien contrôlée de patients traités par cyclophosphamide, doxorubicine, bléomycine, procarbazine et/ou chlorméthine (méchloréthamine, chlorhydrate de mustine), l’allopurinol n’a pas semblé accroître la réaction toxique de ces agents cytotoxiques.
