De federale overheid is bevoegd voor het bijhouden van een permanente inventaris van het wetenschappelijke potentieel in het land (art. 6bis, § 2, 6°, bijzondere wet 8 augustus 1980).
Le pouvoir fédéral est compétent pour la tenue d’un inventaire permanent du potentiel scientifique du pays (article 6bis, § 2, 6°, de la loi de réformes institutionnelles du 8 août 1980).
