Duracoll kan eveneens nuttig zijn ter preventie van lokale infecties van de zachte weefsels en de botten (bijv. de plaatsen van beentransplantaten of gewrichtsprotheses zonder lijm).
Duracoll peut également être utile pour la prévention des infections locales des tissus mous et des os (p. ex. sites de greffes osseuses ou prothèses articulaires sans colle).
