Dieren met genotype ARQ/ARQ, ARQ/VRQ en VRQ/VRQ zijn het meest gevoelig voor scrapie, de heterozygoten AHQ of ARR zijn gedeeltelijk gevoelig terwijl de homozygoten ARR/ARR klinisch resistent zijn (Hunter, 2003; Baylis et Goldmann, 2004).
Les animaux avec un génotype ARQ/ARQ, ARQ/VRQ et VRQ/VRQ sont les plus susceptibles à la tremblante, les hétérogygotes AHQ ou ARR sont partiellement susceptibles, tandis que les homozygotes ARR/ARR sont cliniquement résistants (Hunter, 2003 ; Baylis et Goldmann, 2004).
