TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Deze beslissing kwam er naar aanleiding van rapporten van ernstige leveraantasting bij patiënten behandeld met dit geneesmiddel: op internationaal niveau zijn via spontane meldingssystemen 123 gevallen van ernstige hepatotoxiciteit gerapporteerd, waarvan 12 met fatale afloop (gegevens van augustus 2001).
Cette décision fait suite à l'observation d'atteintes hépatiques graves chez des patients traités par ce médicament: au niveau international, 123 cas d'hépatotoxicité grave, dont 12 d'évolution fatale, ont été rapportés via des systèmes de notification spontanée (données datant du mois d’août 2001).

De laatste jaren zijn met Kava-Kava ongeveer 30 gevallen van hepatotoxiciteit gerapporteerd, vooral in Duitsland en Zwitserland.
Environ 30 cas d’hépatotoxicité par le Kava-Kava ont été rapportés ces dernières années, surtout en Allemagne et en Suisse.

Bij patiënten die vroeger bestraald werden in de mediastinale regio werd ernstige hepatotoxiciteit gerapporteerd, die soms leidde tot de dood.

Daarentegen, bij patiënten die de behandeling voortzetten ondanks het optreden van symptomen van hepatotoxiciteit, werd een hepatische encefalopathie gerapporteerd, alsook een massieve hepatocellulaire necrose.
Par contre chez les patients ayant continué le traitement malgré l’apparition des symptômes d’hépatotoxicité, il a été rapporté une encéphalopathie hépatique ainsi qu’une nécrose hépatocellulaire massive.

Er zijn ook gevallen van hepatitis (ernstige en levensbedreigende hepatotoxiciteit met inbegrip van fatale fulminante hepatitis) gerapporteerd bij patiënten die werden behandeld met nevirapine.
Des cas d’hépatite (hépatotoxicité sévère menaçant le pronostic vital, y compris des cas fatals d’hépatite fulminante) sont survenus chez des patients traités par la névirapine.
