In het kader van het WHO-netwerk van gezondheidsbevorderende ziekenhuizen (WHO Network of Health Promoting Hospitals), heeft een Task Force on Health Promoting Psychiatric Services 40 modellen van goede praktijken op het gebied van de bevordering van een goede geestelijke gezondheid in de psychiatrie vastgesteld.
À l’intérieur du Réseau d’hôpitaux promoteurs de santé de l’OMS, un Task Force on Health Promoting Psychiatric Services 40 (groupe de travail sur les services psychiatriques promoteurs de santé) a établi des modèles de bonnes pratiques en matière de valorisation de la santé mentale en psychiatrie.

Taking part in this network are a large number of the parties involved, including several master organisations such as the Centra voor Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg (CGG: (Centres for Mental Health Care), psychiatric and general hospitals, GP associations, branches of the National Health Service, the SITs (Integrated services of home care), the CAWs (Centres for general well-being), services for home care, PMS centres, pharmacists, police agents, pastoral workers, self-help organisations, patient organisations and specialised centres such as the Centrum ter Preventie van Zelfmoord.
Une large gamme d’acteurs, dont plusieurs organisations coupoles, sont représentés dans ce réseau, comme les Centra voor Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg (CGG: centres de santé mentale), les hôpitaux psychiatriques et généraux, les cercles de médecins généralistes, les mutuelles, les SIT (services intégrés de soins à domicile), les CAW (centres pour le bien-être général), services de soins à domicile, les PMS, pharmaciens, agents de police, agents pastoraux, organisations d’entraide, organisations de patients et centres spécialisés comme le Centrum ter Preventie van Zelfmoord.

The promotion of mental health and the use of health services for mental disorders, the fight against the stigmatising of these disorders and the access to care are therefore the cornerstones of a policy that aims at reducing the prevalence of depression and suicide.
La promotion de la santé mentale et du recours aux soins pour troubles mentaux, la lutte contre la stigmatisation de ces troubles et l’accessibilité aux soins sont donc des axes d’actions prioritaires dans une politique de diminution de la dépression et du suicide.
