Op federaal niveau denkt men aan de andere commissies van de Federale Overheidsdienst Volksgezondheid, Veiligheid van de Voedselketen en Leefmilieu, aan het RIZIV (Rijksinstituut voor Ziekte- en Invaliditeitsverzekering), aan het FAGG (Federaal Agentschap voor Geneesmiddelen en Gezondheidsproducten), aan het WIV (Wetenschappelijk Instituut Volksgezondheid), aan het KCE (Kenniscentrum voor de Gezondheidszorg), enz. Een gemeenschappelijk formulier voor de verschillende instellingen via het overlegplatform HRS (Health Research System) zou interessant zijn.

Het Kenniscentrum zal bijvoorbeeld geen (academische) opleidingen in evidence-based vaardigheden of systematic reviews organiseren. Dat is duidelijk een taak voor CEBAM en voor de universiteiten in het kader van cyclussen zoals wetenschappelijke vorming van de artsen en opleidingen in evidence-based health care.
