Consumer Health – Gerber Business Unit On September 1, Novartis completed the divestment of the Gerber infant products Business Unit for approximately USD 5.5 billion to Nestlé S.A. resulting in a pre-tax divestment gain of approximately USD 4.0 billion and an after-tax gain of USD 3.6 billion.
