De patiënten werden 1:1:1 gerandomiseerd naar nilotinib 300 mg tweemaal daags (n=282), nilotinib 400 mg tweemaal daags (n=281) en imatinib 400 mg eenmaal daags (n=283).
Selon la randomisation 1 :1 :1 les patients recevaient soit 300 mg de nilotinib deux fois par jour (n=282), soit 400 mg de nilotinib deux fois par jour (n=281) soit 400 mg d’imatinib une fois par jour (n=283).
