Daarnaast neemt het Geneesmiddelenbureau actief deel aan initiatieven op EU-niveau, waaronder het Initiatief inzake innovatieve geneesmiddelen (Innovative Medicines Initiative), het Europese technologieplatform voor wereldwijde diergezondheid (European Technology Platform for Global Animal Health) en het zevende kaderprogramma.
Elle participe aussi activement aux initiatives communautaires comme l’initiative sur les médicaments innovants, la plateforme technologique européenne sur la santé animale dans le monde et le septième programmecadre.
