Bij kinderen met suppuratieve otitis met geperforeerd trommelvlies die behandeld werden met ciprofloxacine 2 mg/ml oplossing (2 maal per dag gedurende 7 à 10 dagen) werd geen circulerende plasmaconcentratie van ciprofloxacine tot de kwantificatielimiet van 5 ng/ml gedetecteerd.
Chez les enfants souffrant d’otite suppurant avec le tympan perforé qui ont été traités avec la ciprofloxacine 2 mg/ml solution (2 fois par jour durant 7 à 10 jours) on n’a pas détecté de concentration plasmatique circulante de ciprofloxacine jusqu’à la limite de quantification de 5 ng/ml.
