IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Febuxostat is geïndiceerd voor de behandeling van chronisch hyperuricemie (en terugbetaald bij intolerantie, contra-indicatie of inefficiëntie van allopurinol).
Le fébuxostat est indiqué dans le traitement de l’hyperuricémie chronique (et remboursé en cas d’intolérance, de contre-indication ou d’inefficacité de l’allopurinol).

Febuxostat (Adenuric®) wordt volgens de Samenvatting van de Kenmerken van het Product (SKP, de vroegere wetenschappelijke bijsluiter) gebruikt bij volwassenen ter " behandeling van chronische hyperuricemie bij aandoeningen waarbij uraatafzetting al is opgetreden (inclusief een ziektegeschiedenis met, of aanwezigheid van, jichtknobbels en/ of jichtartritis)" [zie ook Folia februari 2012 ].
Selon le Résumé des Caractéristiques du Produit (RCP, anciennement la notice scientifique), le fébuxostat (Adenuric®) est utilisé chez l’adulte dans le " traitement de l’hyperuricémie chronique dans les cas où un dépôt d’urate s’est déjà produit (incluant des antécédents ou la présence de tophus et/ou d’arthrite goutteuse) " [voir aussi les Folia de février 2012 ].

Febuxostat (Adenuric® ) dat zoals allopurinol de uricemie verlaagt, is nu ook beschikbaar in België.
Le fébuxostat (Adenuric® ) qui, comme l’allopurinol, diminue l’uricémie, est désormais également disponible en Belgique.

De ervaring met febuxostat bij dergelijke patiënten is echter gering, en in de vergelijkende studies tussen febuxostat en allopurinol waren patiënten met ernstige intolerantie voor allopurinol uitgesloten.
L’expérience avec le fébuxostat chez de tels patients est cependant limitée, et les patients présentant une intolérance sévère à l’allopurinol étaient exclus des études comparatives entre le fébuxostat et l’allopurinol.

Allopurinol blijft de eerste keuze bij de preventie van jichtaanvallen omdat met febuxostat de ervaring beperkter is, de ongewenste effecten meer uitgesproken zijn en de kostprijs hoger is [zie Folia februari 2012 ].
Etant donné l’expérience plus limitée avec le fébuxostat, ses effets indésirables plus prononcés et son coût plus élevé, l’allopurinol reste le premier choix dans la prévention des crises de goutte [voir Folia de février 2012 ].

Sinds zijn commercialisering zijn met febuxostat (Adenuric®) ernstige overgevoeligheidsreacties (o.a. stevens-johnsonsyndroom, anafylactische shock) gerapporteerd.
Depuis sa commercialisation, de graves réactions d’hypersensibilité ont été rapportées avec le fébuxostat (Adenuric®) (entre autres syndrome de Stevens- Johnson, choc anaphylactique).

- allopurinol ou fébuxostat (utilisé pour le traitement de la goutte);

Ook andere xanthineoxidaseremmers, zoals febuxostat, kunnen de omzetting van mercaptopurine verlagen en gelijktijdige toediening wordt niet aanbevolen aangezien er niet voldoende gegevens zijn om een juiste dosisverlaging vast te stellen.
D’autres inhibiteurs de la xanthine oxydase, comme le fébuxostat, peuvent également ralentir le métabolisme de la mercaptopurine et leur administration concomitante n’est pas recommandée, car les données sont insuffisantes pour recommander une adaptation de la dose.

Na commercialisering zijn met febuxostat ernstige overgevoeligheidsreacties, met inbegrip van stevens-johnsonsyndroom en anafylactische shock, gerapporteerd; de incidentie wordt geschat tussen 1/1.000 en 1/10.000.
Après commercialisation, des réactions graves d’hypersensibilité ont été rapportées avec le fébuxostat, incluant des syndromes de Stevens- Johnson et des chocs anaphylactiques; l’incidence est estimée entre 1/1.000 et 1/10.000.

In België komt febuxostat in aanmerking voor terugbetaling bij ernstige intolerantie (bv. stevens-johnsonsyndroom of maculopapulaire rash) of contra-indicatie voor allopurinol.
En Belgique, le fébuxostat peut être remboursé en cas d’intolérance sévère (syndrome de Stevens-Johnson ou éruption maculopapulaire p.ex) ou de contreindication à l’allopurinol.
