De darmabsorptie van fosfaat gebeurt hoofdzakelijk in het jejunum o.a. via een transportproces vergemakkelijkt door het 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol; het parathormoon, het 1,25- dihydroxycholecalciferol en de fosfatoninen regelen de urinaire uitscheiding van fosfaat (Berndt et al., 2005).
L’absorption intestinale du phosphate a lieu majoritairement dans le jéjunum notamment via un processus de transport facilité par le 1,25-dihydroxycholécalciférol. L’hormone parathyroïdienne, le 1,25-dihydroxycholécalciférol et les phosphatonines régulent l’excrétion urinaire de phosphate (Berndt et al., 2005).
