Gelijktijdige behandeling, en in het bijzonder acute behandeling, met potentieel nefrotoxische of myelosuppressieve geneesmiddelen (bijvoorbeeld systemisch toegediend pentamidine, dapson, pyrimethamine, co-trimoxazol, amfotericine, flucytosine, ganciclovir, interferon, vincristine, vinblastine en doxorubicine) kan eveneens leiden tot een verhoogd risico op bijwerkingen van zidovudine (zie rubriek 4.8).
L’administration concomitante, en particulier lors d’un traitement d’attaque, de médicaments potentiellement néphrotoxiques ou myélosuppresseurs (tels que pentamidine par voie générale, dapsone, pyriméthamine, cotrimoxazole, amphotéricine, flucytosine, ganciclovir, interféron, vincristine, vinblastine et doxorubicine) peut également accroître le risque de survenue d'effets indésirables liés à la zidovudine (voir rubrique 4.8).
