Des rétinopathies incluant des hémorragies rétiniennes, des exsudats rétiniens, des œdèmes de la papille, des neuropathies optiques et des occlusions de l’artère ou de la veine rétinienne pouvant être à l’origine d’une perte de la vue ont été rapportées dans de rares cas lors d’un traitement combiné avec les interférons alpha.

Tijdens de behandeling met alfa-interferonen werd een grote verscheidenheid aan auto-immuunziekten en immuungemedieerde stoornissen gemeld, waaronder schildklierstoornissen, systemische lupus erythematosus, reumatoïde artritis (nieuw of verergerd), idiopathische en trombotische trombocytopenische purpura, vasculitis, neuropathieën met inbegrip van mononeuropathieën (zie ook rubriek 4.4).
Une grande variété de désordres auto-immuns et d’origine immunologique ont été rapportés avec les interférons alpha comprenant troubles de la thyroïde, lupus érythémateux disséminé, polyarthrite rhumatoïde (nouvelle ou aggravée), purpura thrombopénique idiopathique et purpura thrombocytopénique thrombotique, vascularite, neuropathies y compris mononeuropathies (voir aussi rubrique 4.4).

Oculaire bijwerkingen Oculaire bijwerkingen (zie rubriek 4.8), inclusief retinale bloedingen, wattenachtige vlekken op de retina en obstructie van de retinale arterie of ader werden in zeldzame gevallen gerapporteerd na behandeling met alfa-interferonen.
Effets indésirables oculaires Des effets indésirables oculaires (voir rubrique 4.8) comprenant des hémorragies rétiniennes, des nodules cotonneux, et des occlusions de l’artère ou de la veine rétinienne ont été rarement rapportés après traitement par les interférons alpha.

Deze effecten zijn zelfs na het staken van de behandeling waargenomen, voornamelijk tijdens de follow-up periode van 6 maanden. Andere effecten op het centraal zenuwstelsel waaronder agressief gedrag (soms tegen anderen gericht, zoals neiging tot moord), bipolaire stoornissen, manie, verwardheid en veranderingen van mentale staat zijn waargenomen met alfa interferonen.
D’autres effets sur le SNC, notamment comportement agressif (parfois dirigé contre autrui comme des idées d’homicide), troubles bipolaires, manie, confusion et troubles mentaux ont été signalés sous interféron alpha.

Auto-immuunziekte De ontwikkeling van auto-antilichamen en auto-immuunziekten is gemeld tijdens de behandeling met alfa interferonen. Patiënten met een predispositie voor het krijgen van auto-immuunziekten, kunnen een verhoogd risico lopen.
Maladies auto-immunes L’apparition d’auto-anticorps et d’affections auto-immunes a été rapportée sous traitement par les interférons alpha ; les patients prédisposés aux affections auto-immunes peuvent être exposés à un risque plus élevé.
