ATIII-deficiëntie, antifosfolipidesyndroom), gevorderde leeftijd, patiënten met langdurige perioden van immobilisatie, maligniteiten, anticonceptiva en hormoonvervangende behandeling, chirurgie/trauma, obesitas en roken.
Des précautions sont nécessaires en cas d’administration du romiplostim chez des patients ayant des facteurs de risque connus de thromboembolie incluant entre autres, des facteurs de risque héréditaires (par exemple Facteur V de Leiden) ou des facteurs de risque acquis (par exemple déficience d’ATIII, syndrome antiphospholipidique), un âge avancé, des patients ayant des périodes prolongées d’immobilisation, des pathologies malignes, des traitements contraceptifs ou hormono-substitutifs, une chirurgie ou un traumatisme, une obésité et un tabagisme.

Bij patiënten met andere potentiële risicofactoren op cardiotoxiciteit (voorgeschiedenis van cardiovasculaire aandoening, eerdere behandeling met andere anthracyclines of anthracenedionen, eerdere of gelijktijdige radiotherapie in het mediastinale/pericardiale gebied en gelijktijdig gebruik van geneesmiddelen die de hartcontractiliteit kunnen onderdrukken, waaronder cyclofosfamide en 5-fluorouracil), kan doxorubicine cardiotoxiciteit veroorzaken bij lagere cumulatieve doses. Bij deze patiënten dient de hartfunctie zorgvuldig te worden gecontroleerd.
