Ze remt de gonadotropinesecretie (FSH-LH) af, zonder dat de secretie van de andere hypofysehormonen (groeihormoon, prolactine, corticotroop hormoon, thyrotropine (TSH) daar rechtstreeks door beïnvloed wordt.
Il inhibe la sécrétion des gonadotrophines (FSH-LH), sans que la sécrétion des autres hormones hypophysaires (hormone de croissance, prolactine, hormone corticotrope, thyrotrophine (TSH)) soit influencée directement.
