De volgende ernstige bijwerkingen zijn zelden gemeld sinds het op de markt brengen van oseltamivir: Anafylactische en anafylactoïde reacties, leveraandoeningen (fulminante hepatitis, verstoorde leverfunctie en geelzucht), angioneurotisch oedeem, Stevens-Johnsonsyndroom en toxische epidermale necrolyse, gastro-intestinale bloeding en neuropsychiatrische aandoeningen (Betreffende neuropsychiatrische aandoeningen, zie rubriek 4.4).
Les effets indésirables graves suivants ont été rarement rapportés depuis la commercialisation de l'oseltamivir : réactions anaphylactiques et anaphylactoïdes, troubles hépatiques (hépatite fulminante, trouble de la fonction hépatique et ictère), œdème de Quincke, syndrome de Stevens-Johnson et nécrolyse épidermique toxique, saignements gastro-intestinaux et troubles neuropsychiatriques (concernant les troubles neuropsychiatriques, voir rubrique 4.4).
