However by way of derogation, creosote containing B[a]P at a concentration of less than 0,005 by mass (= 50 ppm) and WEP at a concentration of less than 3 % by mass (= 30 g/kg) may be used for wood treatment in industrial installations or by professionals for in situ re-treatment.

(6) In afwijking hiervan mocht creosoot voor de behandeling van hout in industriële installaties worden gebruikt als het B[a]P in een concentratie van minder dan 0,05 % in massa (= 500 ppm) en WEF in een concentratie van minder dan 3 % in massa (= 3 g/kg) bevatte.
