TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

De Raad van de Europese Unie bereikte in september 2001 een eerste akkoord over het voorstel inzake mensenhandel. De hierin gehanteerde definitie van mensenhandel is gebaseerd op de definitie van het delict in het VN-Mensenhandelprotocol van 2000 en er wordt een maximale strafmaat van niet minder dan acht jaar voorgesteld.
