Er is bij het Europees Geneesmiddelenbureau (hierna „EMA” genoemd) een aanvraag ingediend voor het vaststellen van MRL's van gezuiverd pasteus extract van Humulus lupulus L. met ongeveer 48 % bètazuren (zoals kaliumzouten) in honing.
An application for the establishment of MRLs for purified semi-solid extract from Humulus lupulus L. containing approximately 48 % of beta acids (as potassium salts) in honey has been submitted to the European Medicines Agency (hereinafter ‘EMA’).

Het EMA heeft op basis van het advies van het Comité voor geneesmiddelen voor diergeneeskundig gebruik aanbevolen dat de vaststelling van een MRL van gezuiverd pasteus extract van Humulus lupulus L. met ongeveer 48 % bètazuren (als kaliumzouten) in honing niet noodzakelijk is voor de bescherming van de menselijke gezondheid.
The EMA, based on the opinion of the Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use, has recommended that the establishment of an MRL for purified semi-solid extract from Humulus lupulus L. containing approximately 48 % of beta acids (as potassium salts) in honey, is not necessary for the protection of human health.
